Orchard manual
Ourcana system data on the command line. Read a local store, inspect a server, or use JSON in your own scripts.
Orchard is the command-line companion to Ourcana. The executable is named or. It reads members, fronting history, tags and journals from Ourcana stores, and has separate commands for identities and server access.
Start with a local file
You do not need an account to read an export. Pass the file explicitly so there is no doubt about which system you are looking at.
or --store ./ourcana.json who
or --store ./ourcana.json members
or --store ./ourcana.json --json infoInstall Orchard or follow the quick start.
Local files and the server are separate
Local commands read a store on disk. switch and import save changes to that file; they do not send those changes to a server. online reads or prunes server data. connect checks a WTP handshake and reports features; it does not synchronise a local file. There is no or sync command.
Orchard can read the app's .willowdrop store, but cannot write it. Use an exported JSON or .our copy when you need to edit. Read configuration and files before pointing a script at live app data.
Find a command
The sidebar groups commands by task. CLI help contains the executable's help verbatim. Search runs in your browser using an index built with the manual; queries never leave your device.
